On September 17, at 5 pm in the August Fitger Room in Fitger's The Friends of the Library hosted an event. The featured guest was New York Times bestselling author, William Kent Krueger who writes a mystery series that is set in the Northwoods of Minnesota. This event will be his first unveiling in the Northland of his newest book in the series - Trickster's Point. In addition to a presentation and book signing by William Kent Krueger, there was a silent auction and a special drawing for a member of the audience to be a character in Krueger's next book. All proceeds benefited the Duluth Public Library.
