PrintMen's Rugby Team Makes Midwest Playoffs
The Ice Monkeys, Duluth~Superior's undefeated Division Three men's rugby team, is advancing to Midwest playoffs on November 3. Their victory last week in the first round of Minnesota playoffs against the St. Paul Pigs ensures them a spot against Iowa. If they beat the St. Cloud Bottom Feeders on October 27, they'll play Iowa's #2 team at the field at UMD. If they lose, however, they'll have to travel to Iowa to play Iowa's #1 team on their home field.
"We have had a great season so far, and I am not ready for it to end; especially not here in Minnesota," president Taylor Schnell wrote in an email to the team today. "[But] I can guarantee that this will be the hardest match that we have played all season."
