Talferd Jude isn't only good at calamari and steak—his homemade peanut butter recipe is a fresh approach to the subject. One of his favorite ways to use this is on lightly blanched fresh green beans with a whole fruit marmalade or chopped fresh fruit.
1 cup peanuts (no salt, dry-roasted)
1/2 cup cashews
walnut oil
sugar
salt
Blend peanuts and cashews in food processer. Slowly add walnut oil to desired consistency. Add sugar and salt to taste.
Alternative recipe:
Instead of peanuts and cashews, try hazelnuts (lightly toasted and skinless). if you can find it, try using hazelnut oil or any unobtrusive oil.
