West Michigan Street seems like a strange place for a restaurant. A railroad stretches overhead, leading to an active ore dock, large cranes and huge piles of taconite. Harbor City Oil and Propane and Power Transmission are just down the street, but the biggest building is the Duluth Heritage Sports Center, home of rowdy hockey players and their fans. Named after famous shipping magnate John Jacob Astor, the restaurant has a completely new interior with a granite bar, a new menu with creative twists on American comfort food, and a new nautical theme.
