| Description |
As a school of art and design, the UMD faculty comprise a shared vision that recognizes and incorporates a multi-disciplinary range of study, research and application — always re-inventing and searching so that their art reflects a globally oriented awareness. Featured are recent works by artists: Alison Aune, Steve Bardolph, Fatih Benzer, Jayme Christine, Gloria DeFilipps Brush, Jen Dietrich (with Sarah Nitschke), Betsy Hunt (with Zach Moser), Elizabeth (Liz) James, Jeffery Kalstrom, James Klueg, Janice Kmetz, Victoria Lehman, Wanda Pearcy, Ryuta Nakajima, Matthew Olin, Robert Repinski, Joellyn Rock, Eric Stykel, and Mariana Waisman. This activity is made possible in part by a grant provided by the Minnesota State Arts Board, through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature and a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. This program is free and open to the public.
