World of WheelsThere are only a few times in my life where my feet have felt awkward. Once when they were squeezed into water shoes and sinking me to the bottom of swimming area; again, when they were strapped to an inflexible snowboard; and (my favorite type of awkward feet) when they were laced into roller skates. Clunky, wide, and looking more eccentric than bowling shoes, roller skates are not the in-fashion item of the year. But we aren’t going for looks here. We want awkward shoes to match our awkward movements as we try to stay upright and navigate turns at high speeds! World of Wheels Skating Center in Superior, Wisconsin is the place to get your awkward on. |
