On July 27, 2012 Tweed Museum’s Board members held the Big Dig fundraiser to benefit Tweed’s education fund. The purpose of the education fund is to create new educational programming for children at the Tweed Museum. The Big Dig event was hosted at Glensheen Mansion and guests were treated to an old-fashioned clam and lobster bake on the beautiful grounds of the mansion right on the shore of Lake Superior.
